Watercolours in Catherine Hill Bay

                                                  A TRIP NORTH
We had two nights escape in an old mining town, Catherine Hill Bay, south of Newcastle.
Super beach, gorgeous village and wonderful old coal-loading jetty, the subject of my watercolours for a day.

My favourite one is the last one, channeling Brett Whiteley after seeing his exhibition "By The Beach" at Hazelhurst Regional Gallery... wonderful exhibition...viewing recommended!
In this one I feel I really "got it". Very pleasing...
AH just checked this following long night on the computer...the one I think is the most successful is the SECOND LAST one...Kate's a dope!
So, I reckon this would be a wonderful stained glass window.

  1. This is quite a restrained style for you. I'm liking the minimalist approach.

  2. I'm really enjoying the design and layout of your blog. It's a very easy
on the eyes which makes it much more pleasant for me to come here and visit more
often. Did you hire out a designer to create your theme?
    Excellent work!

    1. Thanks for your feedback, this is a very backyard effort! No professional input, a generous friend helped me get started so the layout is all her doing...

  3. I read this article completely regarding the resemblance of newest and previous technologies, it's amazing article.

  4. The artwork looks so beautiful. The key attribute about such art is its natural look, which make it looks fresh and live.
