Painting on Maddens Plains

                                              AN AFTERNOON'S WORK...

Is there a more blissful way
To spend a day?
An afternoon painting at Madden's Plain,
Uses all the senses and totally engages the brain,
Its really quite exhiliherating and great fun,
To step back and see the results when done.

Two Days at Port Kembla Harbour

Two Days at Port Kembla Harbour

It's the best weather for an outdoor paint (or two). Painting pal Deborah and I headed down to Port Kembla on Monday ...the views of industry, boats and activity at the Gateway section of the harbour are magnificent.
We had cups of tea, turkey sandwiches and commentated on the action in the harbour
Deborah, did you lift a paint brush? Hmmmmm...
I was just warming up, so Peter and I went back the next day for more sandwiches on the shore.

These are oil sketches. Larger paintings need to be developed later.
